G*W*X*M*A*S*H

G*W*X*M*A*S*H is the ML's first round robin fic, started in February 2002. The idea was spurred from a comment made on the list about the list page's color scheme whereby the particular olive green color started a whole new slew of ideas.

This round robin fic has not yet been completed and is still ongoing with 22 chapters released so far. Kay Zozma handles all the particulars to the G*W*X*M*A*S*H page.

The Golden Tripe Fanfiction Contest

The Golden Tripe Fanfiction Contest opened in the year 2000 with bad 3x4/4x3 fanfiction in mind. The point of the contest is to deliberately write bad fanfics, not to mock any pairings in particular but to realize that fanfic writers do make mistakes sometimes. Instead about sulking about mistakes, it's always fun to look back, learn and laugh. It's especially fun to write bad fanfiction on purpose just because it's crazy and totally absurd.

The contest has expanded to include other pairings as well. Since it's earlier introduction, two other variants have been formed - namely The Purple Spandex Contest (which focuses solely on the 1x2/2x1 pairing) and The Gutter Tales (which focuses on other pairings not including 3x4/4x3 and 1x2/2x1).

We're happy to report that although Lorena is no longer handling the contest, she has handed over the honors to Rachel and Anne. Expect more painfully awful fanfics to come when the contest opens again.
